FAI stands for Femoroacetabular Impingement, more commonly known as hip impingement.
With FAI/hip impingement comes restriction in movement, particularly in flexion and rotation of the hip. It can also be pretty painful.
Listen to your body and progress through the videos at your own pace. Adjust any exercises you feel like you need to adjust! You shouldn’t be feeling any pain during the exercises.
We’re going to avoid forceful and hardcore stretching into those difficult ranges of motion.
Forcing stretches won’t improve the condition, it could even aggravate the problem. Gentle stretches will be key here. We’ll focus on the control of the muscles around the hip joint, which will enable you a greater range of motion.
